He serves his people with HONOUR and DILIGENCE. He is trusted by his people because he leads by example. No sooner than he utters a promise than he delivers through ACTION. He is hugely respected and followed because of his DELIVERY and not PROMISES. As a GREAT leader he despises false promises and people that create lots of unnecessary noise to get attention. There are many leaders who play their part on the outside, but have very little substance on the inside. HON TIM is full of SUBSTANCE INSIDE AND ACTION OUTSIDE. HON TIM WANYONYI has earned his RESPECT and STATURE as the BEST MP in Kenya because he consistently proves through his Work Ethic that he is RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY on the Inside and out. He has set the tone and is a GREAT ROLE MODEL. The tangible and measurable results of his consistent w

SHUJAA TIM WANYONYI

Image
Epic stories have been told of people who give the word SHUJAA meaning especially within the concept of our new constitutional dispensation.  Often times, the question would linger, really, who’s a Shujaa? In January, I found ourselves in a situation in which we needed God to send us a Shujaa. That's how I met Hon Tim Wanyonyi. I worked very hard not to tear in his office out of frustration, though,  having heard him speak & give out bursaries from his own fund,  had given me confidence enough at least to share my vision for Cheleta Primary  School. This I did, as he keenly listened to me.  "Madam, go and do your part, will help you.” This statement banished the cloud of hopelessness that would engulf me every morning as I prepared to go to a school in Runda Westlands whose facilities were an eyesore. Now, Mhesh, Daddy, Papa as children in the entire Westlands Constituency fondly refer to him is a leader to watch.  He's one leader who's focused on a very cl

WESTLANDS GEM HON TIM WANYONYI A LEADER WITH AN OPEN MIND

Image
How many times have you heard someone use the term, open mind? “Let’s approach this with an open mind.” I expect that, like me, you have heard it countless times, used by countless people, in countless settings. Add to this the number of occasions when the words were used, and we didn’t even notice. Having an open mind certainly includes being receptive to different ideas and opinions in a given situation. But, I would also argue that this definition stops far short of the term’s infinitely deeper meaning. Indeed having an open mind can be a vital, enduring and endlessly rewarding part of how you interpret and engage people, situations and ideas.  For the Westlands MP Hon Tim Wanyonyi having an open mind is a deeply embedded part of his value system. A positive driving force behind his actions, and a hallmark of what gives him a sense of purpose. Many are the times that you can pick out without a struggle how Hon Tim Wanyonyi derives great joy in interacting with different cadres
