Westlands MP Hon Tim Wanyonyi at City Park Market on July 18, 2017 Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi today  visited City Park Market in Karura Ward, Nairobi where he interacted with traders to know how they are faring and how he could help them in his next tenure as he gears for the August 8th, 2017 polls. He arrived at the market some few minutes after 1 p.m to a rousing welcome by both traders and customers, and spent about 2 hours interacting with the market traders. TIM WANYONYI CALLS FOR POLITICAL TOLERANCE

PRIVATE SECURITY GUARDS ENDORSE TIM WANYONYI'S RE-ELECTION BID

Westlands MP Hon Tim Wanyonyi addresses thousands of Private Security Guards on July 15, 2017. 3,500 Private security guards drawn from Westlands on Saturday, July 15, 2017 endorsed Westlands MP Hon Tim Wanyonyi's 2017 re-election bid. The group expressed confidence in the legislator's ability to advocate their issues. The Westlands MP said that he will follow up  security firms flouting the presidential order on 18% increment on minimum wages. He also promised to enforce the orders as law. Westlands MP Hon Tim Wanyonyi received a rousing welcome from thousands of  Mountain View residents who lined up the road from  N-Market through Thiongo road to Village Inn market to greet him. The legislator asked the electorate to make sober choices by voting for leaders who are accountable and responsive to their functions. Hon Tim Wanyonyi told the masses to bank on his proven track record to reelect him to continue transforming the constituency. KANGEMI PRIMARY TRANSFORMED BY TIM WANYONYI

Kangemi Primary School pupils studying in one of the refurbished classrooms courtesy of Westlands MP Hon Tim Wanyonyi. Kangemi Primary School was established in 1927. It is the only public primary school in the expansive Mountain View Ward. The school has a current enrollment of 1,846 pupils and 30 teachers. The school bore the brunt of a ballooning population of its catchment comprising of Gichagi, Rift Valley, Village Inn and St Joseph informal settlement areas.  The free primary education programme introduced in January 2003 positively contributed to an increased enrollment of pupils at the school .The high enrollment with the limited physical facilities at the school resulted in congested classrooms. The defunct city council failure to allocate resources to the school further  contributed to the sorry state of affairs with the school infrastructure being overstretched. The school depicted decay, disuse and neglect. Everything was in tatters from the crumbling ceilings,
