Three passengers on Saturday were injured when the bus they were travelling in landed in a ditch after another vehicle obstructed it on the dual carriage way in Kangemi, Nairobi.
The driver of the Kawere Connection bus, Mr Duncun Fedha, 38 , told Nation that he was obstructed by another bus in front of him. He swerved on the right to avoid hitting it in the back where he lost control of the vehicle.
“The bus was picking passengers in the middle of the road and as I avoided to rum on its back, I ended up in this ditch but no one was seriously injured,” he told Nation at the site of the accident.
He said they began the journey from  Kendu Bay, Homa Bay County on Saturday morning and it was all smooth until they got to Waiyaki Way in Kangemi when the accident happened. At the time of the accident, the bus had 50 passengers.
