1.      This addendum seeks to amend the tender notice advertised on 14th July, 2020.
2.      All other requirements remain as indicated in the tender notice.
3.      Due to issued gazette notice no. 5377, the public holidays act (cap. 110); the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Co-ordination of National Government declares that Friday, the 31st July, 2020 shall be a public holiday to mark Idd – ul – Azha.
4.      Further; due to issued guidelines by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) on handling of procurement activities, the three day extension is to ensure we put in place measures to comply with directives issued by the Ministry of Health.

KANGEMI PRIMARY TRANSFORMED BY TIM WANYONYI

Kangemi Primary School pupils studying in one of the refurbished classrooms courtesy of Westlands MP Hon Tim Wanyonyi. Kangemi Primary School was established in 1927. It is the only public primary school in the expansive Mountain View Ward. The school has a current enrollment of 1,846 pupils and 30 teachers. The school bore the brunt of a ballooning population of its catchment comprising of Gichagi, Rift Valley, Village Inn and St Joseph informal settlement areas.  The free primary education programme introduced in January 2003 positively contributed to an increased enrollment of pupils at the school .The high enrollment with the limited physical facilities at the school resulted in congested classrooms. The defunct city council failure to allocate resources to the school further  contributed to the sorry state of affairs with the school infrastructure being overstretched. Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi Opens Two New Impressive Classes at North Highridge Secondary

The two North Highridge Secondary School classrooms built by Westlands NG-CDF. The Westlands Member of Parliament Tim Wanyonyi today handed over two new classrooms to North Highridge Secondary School in Parklands, Westlands. Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi opens the plaque for the two new classrooms at North Highridge Secondary while the Westlands NG CDF chairlady Roselida Upendo watches on. "We are here to handover this two new classrooms to the secondary school. This is the beginning of many other classes we will build for this school. In the next financial year we will definitely add more classes on the same structure." Westlands MP, Tim Wanyon yi said.
