WANYAMA ROYA CHARITY CUP CHAMPIONS FETED

Young Talent from Bulbul Ngong beat Dandora Youth 4-2 on penalties after a barren draw during normal time to win the boy's U-16 edition of the Wanyama Roya Charity Cup. They were awarded KES 500,000 and KES 300,000 respectively.

Dagoretti Mixed (Kawangware) beat Kabete Chick (Westlands) in the girls U-19 premier edition to be crowned the girls champions. They bagged KES 300,000 and KES 150,000 respectively.

Acakoro beat Future Stars (Langata) in the boys 3rd place play off with Riruta Hot Spurs defeating Loreto Msongari in the girls 3rd place play off. Acakoro were rewarded with KES 100,000, Future Stars KES 50,000, Riruta KES 75,000 and Loreto Msongari got KES 50,000.
Each of the 16 boys teams and 8 girls teams were kitted in addition to receiving balls and certificates of participation.
Deputy President William Ruto, Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi, Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa graced the finals.
