MP WANYONYI LAYS FOUNDATION FOR FIVE CLASSROOMS AND OPENS TWO CLASSES AT LORESHO PRIMARY

Westlands legislator Tim Wanyonyi has laid the foundation stone for the construction of five classrooms at Loresho Secondary School in Kitisuru today. The MP also officially opened two new classrooms at Loresho Primary School.

Speaking during the ocassion, the MP said that education forms an important background for our future leaders.

"This is a school that serves children from a humble background, we will therefore continue partnering to improve It's education standards.Education is a great equalizer regardless of your background,"  Tim stated.


The two new classrooms built by the Westlands NG-CDF and officially opened by the Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi on Thursday, July 18, 2019.

Wanyonyi argued that it is an appropriate time to amend Kenya's constitution to pave way for more accountable leadership.

"Next year,Kenyans should prepare, we need to start the process of amending our constitution. If we have Ministers who double up as MPs we will make their leadership more accountable. The current crop of ministers are arrogant and lack accountability," Wanyonyi added.

He urged the school authority to extend cooperation with partners in the neighborhood such as the University of Nairobi in the construction of the secondary school.
