Westlands MP Hon Tim Wanyonyi took his vote hunt to Mji Wa Huruma in Karura Ward, Westlands Constituency on Friday, July 14, 2017 as he consolidates votes for the August 8 polls.

He got a super warm reception from the residents who said they will fully support him to the last man.

Hon Tim Wanyonyi said he will ensure that he sets up new and unique projects for the area youth and women in his next tenure as the Westlands legislator.
"..na miradi ile miradi yenyu ambayo mmesema watu wa Githogoro watakuwa wakifanya yao na nyinyi mtakuwa mkifanya yenyu pia.." Tim Wanyonyi said.
("For the projects you have proposed, the people in Githogoro will do their own projects as you people here in Mji Wa Huruma implement your own projects.")

Hon Tim Wanyonyi asked the residents to vote for him because of his practical ideologies, proven track record as well as the cordial relationship they have had during the last four and a half years.
He also committed to co-opt more representation from Mji wa Huruma in his next tenure while requesting them not to gamble with their votes in the August 8, 2017 polls. He assured them that he will always have the best of their interest at all times.

Earlier on the legislator officially opened the Mji wa Huruma access road that is being upgraded to tarmac through the Kenya Rural Roads Association.
