The Computer Labs consist of 40 computers, internet connectivity, NComputing as well as a server where academic content can be shared with each learner using one of the computers. The computer labs are expected to serve the Loresho Primary school’s 1,140 pupils and 26 teachers as well as Lower Kabete Primary School's 750 pupils and 20 teachers . Teachers and pupils will use the laboratories to do their work, research and other academic needs.

The ICT Centres mark the 7th and 8th in the constituency  and are a result of the collaborative efforts of the Westlands MP Hon Tim Wanyonyi with various partners. The legislator stated that all children should embrace computer literacy. He added that a lack of computing in schools puts Kenya as an East African regional leader at risk.

The MP further stated that ICT may contribute to creating powerful learning environments in the schools through: providing opportunities to access an abundance of information using multiple information resources; ICT may also make complex academic processes easier to understand through simulations; and lastly ICT may function as a facilitator of active learning and higher-order thinking.

The legislator also foresees the ICT centres helping pupils to take more control over their own learning. The pupils will learn how to make their own decisions and actually think for themselves.
