REPRIEVE FOR KANGEMI FIRE VICTIMS FROM WESTLANDS MP WANYONYI

A fire outbreak on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 1pm razed down several houses in Nderitu's estate in Kangemi Gichagi.

According  to an eyewitness two kids who were left at home in one of the houses were playing with a stove that later exploded causing the inferno.

At least 85 households were directly affected losing all their items. They were forced to spend Friday night in the cold lighting bonfires to keep warm.

Westlands MP Hon Tim Wanyonyi gave a reprieve to the victims  by donating foodstuffs and beddings on Saturday, July 30, 2016 morning.
